The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Assumption College, Changanacherry, in association with Believer’s Church Medical College, Thiruvalla, organized a Blood Donation Camp on 10 June 2026 at Powathil Hall from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The programme was conducted with the objective of promoting the spirit of social responsibility and creating awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation among students and staff.
The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and non-teaching staff, who came forward to donate blood for a noble cause. A team of medical professionals from Believer’s Church Medical College ensured the smooth and safe conduct of the donation process by carrying out necessary health screenings and providing proper medical assistance. The programme highlighted the message, “One drop of blood, a new life,” emphasizing the significance of blood donation in saving lives. The camp was a great success and reflected the commitment of the institution towards community service and humanitarian values.
