
Dr. Simon Thattil, Director of HEC Archdiocese of Changanassery, was elected the new National President of the Indian Accounting Association (IAA) at the association’s annual meeting, which concluded in Udaipur (Rajasthan) on October 13, 2025.
Dr. Thattil, a distinguished professor and scholar, steps into the leadership position of the IAA, a premier professional body that serves as a vital platform for Professors and Scholars from the Commerce and Management faculties of various universities across India.
His election, which took place during the association’s annual meeting, signifies a new phase of leadership for the IAA as it continues its mission to promote and disseminate knowledge in accounting and related fields through research, education, and professional development.
